The Castle Quarter involves palaces and castle structures all within a surrounding fortification . It's located in the 1st district, entry through the northern Bécsi kapu (Vienna Gate) or at the southern palace-side Dísz tér (Ceremonial Square) Some of the oldest standing houses and courtyards in Budapest can be found here.
