The most beautiful opera house in Europe, according to many, built in neo-Rennaisance palace style in 1884. It's interior is decorated by frescos by some of the most famous Hungarian painters. It can seat 1,200 people, most active during the winter season. It's located in the 6th district, Andrássy út 22. It has its own subway stop (yellow line).
