Once Europe's 20th largest zoo, founded in 1866. One of the most important „monument-zoo” in the world.
Houses more than 700 different species and more than 2000 different plants. Located in the 7th district, can be approached from Hősök tere, or Széchenyi Fürdő. Both of them has own subway stop on the Yellow Metro line (the oldest continental metro).
