The Baroque style palace was the royal residence of Hungarian kings for 700 years. It was built in 1750, and reconstructed in 1867 and 1948. Several major public collections can be found here, like museums, galleries and archives. Continuing archeological excavations around there. It's located in the 1st district. Take mini-bus number 21 from Moszkva tér or bus number 16 from Deák tér.
