Heroe's Square was created for the millenary anniversary of the Hungarian state in 1896, and musters up the statues of Hungarian kings and the seven founding Magyar tribal chieftains, including the great Magyar Chief árpád. The Monument of the Unknown Soldier can be found here too. Located in the 14th district, can be approached by subway, it has its own stop (Yellow Metro line).
